Welcome to my author website. My world is much like every other writer’s world, filled with surprising creative ideas, wonderful opportunities, fans and challenges. I write both fiction and non-fiction, so that adds the element of duel personality into the mix. At any given moment I have to ask myself …Who am I right now? An author success coach? Researcher? Or lost in the fantasy world of my current fiction? They’re all great places, but life moves much easier when I keep my mental GPS online.

As a fiction author, I write Urban Fantasy, Paranormal YA, Women’s Fiction and Romance with a paranormal twist. My first published series, The Twice-Baked Vampire Series explores what really happens to a vampire after he meets his final death and surprisingly gets one last chance to earn redemption. Book #1, Cold in California was released in June of 2011 and book #2, Monkey Jump came out in May, 2012. Book #3 in the series, entitled Amsterdamned, is in the works and scheduled for release in the summer of 2013. The Twice-Baked Vampire Series will have a total of five books.

As a non-fiction author, my whole goal is to put my twenty-plus years of marketing, promotions and publicity expertise to work for authors. Finding Author Success: Discovering and Uncovering the Marketing Power within your Manuscript was released in November, 2011 and is happily making ripples. I blog, teach live and online workshops and speak at writers conferences on Author Success and growing book sales. I often do books signings and speak live to groups of writers preparing for life within the publishing world. It’s an absolute delight to help take away all that terror authors feel about the marketing responsibilities now on their shoulders. A second book, The Cross Marketing Magic Handbook for Authors is slated for release in early 2013.

So, that’s me in a nutshell. I’m always writing, writing, writing and busy trying to get as much sound marketing advice as possible out into the author’s world.
